    Request for a tutorial

    About a year ago Adobe dropped support for mobile devices, so you will be severely limiting your audience if you use flash. Definitely go the jquery route.

    Illustrator or Photoshop?

    I use GIMP for bitmaps, and Inkscape for vectors. Both programs are free and as was mentioned above, do not contain all the bloat of the Adobe counterparts. I stopped using Adobe products when I could no longer justify their upgrade costs.

    Hello Everyone! I have been involved in web development for quite a while, having coded my first site in 1995....yes, I am that old. :) My expertise is HTML, CSS, and PHP. LAtely, most of my work is in custom WordPress programming.

    Browser compatibility and CSS hacks

    I am always mindful of compatibility issues, but do not provide support for IE version 8 or lower. IE8 was released in 2009 - anyone using that browser probably thinks the internet is really ugly anyway. :)

    You cannot do that with HTML. JavaScript would be required....ad you would make a lot of people mad if you did this, so you may want to reconsider.

Theme customization system

You can customize some areas of the forum theme from this menu.

  • Wide/Narrow view

    You can control a structure that you can use to use your theme wide or narrow.

    Grid view forum list

    You can control the layout of the forum list in a grid or ordinary listing style structure.

    Picture grid mode

    You can control the structure where you can open/close images in the grid forum list.

    Close sidebar

    You can get rid of the crowded view in the forum by closing the sidebar.

    Fixed sidebar

    You can make it more useful and easier to access by pinning the sidebar.

    Close radius

    You can use the radius at the corners of the blocks according to your taste by closing/opening it.
