    Is it worth it to learn PHP OOP?

    I think the ONLY thing you should use in large scripts is OOP. People who suggest otherwise usually don't have much experience. I dislike the fact that some people INSIST on using procedural in large scripts. Prime example: SMF.

    If you could change HTML...

    Definitely comment reform. I'd also change the way spacing is done. In addition, I'd like a lot of the styling to be done through HTML without having to use CSS, while still using separate files.

    Do you allow HTML editing in forum posts?

    Heck no. You covered the reasons for this in the original post. If someone needs to post code, they can do so using the [code] tags. HTML in posts is ALWAYS going to cause problems.
